This book was born from my increasing frustration throughout the years over the nosy, ignorant or plain silly comments and questions. I tried to create a comprehensive list of things we, widows (and widowers) don't want to hear or don't want to answer and I tried to be inclusive with many different situations and base these comments and questions not only on my own experience, but on experiences of other widows as well. If you know a widow, this book is for you.

Journaling helped me tremendously throughout my journey; however, I never found a journal that would feel right, so I used multiple ones, and notebooks, post-its even. I designed these journals with widows and widowers in mind to record our smiles and tears, memories and notes. Each journal contains 365 guided pages, but without any dates - so if it takes you a year to fill it up or 5, it's all up to you.
